The most opulent accommodations in Two Heavens Village, the Warlord Arashi has opted to spend the Winter occupying the third floor of the Laughing Badger Inn. Ahead of his arrival, Mirumoto Shikei had left him a gift of an unseasonable asagao flower left to blossom in a fragile clay vessel. The flower lives only by the warmth of the lantern glowing close by.

Occupying the center-right building north of the training grounds is the Phoenix embassy. The furnishing are serene, but in the heart, a rock garden stands. Several large stones dot the landscape. Perhaps disturbingly, they are all split in two by some mighty tool, exposing jagged cracks or simply have pieces sheared off and laying in sand.

None could honestly say the gardens of Shiro Mirumoto are the most glorious, at least not since the Dragon Clan's setting of the trend centuries ago. But they are still serene and provocative in the way that only the Dragon can make them. A few evergreens dot the landscape. Stones here are plentiful and the winter snow compliments, rather than subdues, its beauty. The evergreen plants here have been pruned and arranged to represent the winter of the life of Mirumoto who died in his prime fighting during the Day of Thunder

A series of tatami floored rooms ring the dojo. At any given time, wooden and bamboo practice swords can be heard clacking or the sensei lecturing students. Peculiarly enough, compared to most dojo, these sensei speak with more questions than orders. Here, one corner of the ground floor has been reserved for guests to practice their own martial arts. At the center, a larger tatami floor spreads against a short conclave of bleachers. The east wall is occupied by a trio of shrines to Mirumoto, Shinsei and Togashi. A single stone at the base marks the grave of Mirumoto Hojatsu. Akin to the shrine in the village, a banner hangs with the words "Neither Will I."
