[Day 27 LM] Finishing the Lion Kite

A row of storehouses have been converted into guest quarters just north-facing the training grounds. The Crane Clan Occupy the center-left building. Their accommodations are modestly furnished with notable works of art taking up one sliding door wall in the middle. One panel is a painting of Shiro Daidoji, the matching panel reveals a di-glyph, showing a landscape of the Kosaten Province beyond.

[Day 27 LM] Finishing the Lion Kite

Postby Kakita Kyoumi » Tue Mar 14, 2017 1:43 am

The kite had already been fully constructed the previous evening. All that was left was for Kyoumi to paint it.

She opened her paints and brushes and began to draw out the maned face of the Lion. It would complete the kite.
The face had a fierce, snarling aspect....that could be a Lion, or could be a pitiless storm that will crush all before it without mercy.

When she is finished, Kyoumi looks for a moment at her paints. She goes to the small area that serves as a place for the preparation of food and retrieves three empty sake bottles. She fills each with water, and returns with them. She adds a different color of paint to each bottle, then seals them up. She uses a piece of twine to tie the bottles together and hang them over her shoulder. Then, once her kite is dried and complete, she picks it up and heads out of the Embassy.
